This pendant is inspired by the plight of the Chagos Islanders. They were evicted from their homes around 40 years ago to make way for a US military base. The islands are governed by the UK. The 2000+ Chagos islanders lives, well-being, homes and human rights were traded for a discount on the trident nuclear weapons which the UK purchased from the US.

They had their dogs killed and the Chagossians were removed by force and dumped into unfamiliar environments, Mauritius, Seychelles and the UK. Many have died from a broken heart.

Their cause needs a lot of love, it is 2000+ Chagos Islanders versus the UK and the US. 50% of profits from this symbol will go towards helping them.
